[ How to ?? ] Root the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Exynos Variant

We’re starting to see more and more people getting their hands on the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8, so for those of you looking for some help in rooting your device, XDA Recognized Developer dr.ketan has made a simple step-by-step guide for you. This guide will walk you through how to gain root access to the device using SuperSU. The developer also promises to provide an EFS backup tool so you can save the important data in this partition.
Once your device is rooted, you open up the device to some interesting modifications such as flashing the popular audio mod called Viper4Android. Of course, there are already a ton of things you can do without root on Samsung devices such as blocking ads and disabling bloatware, but having root access is an added benefit nonetheless.

[TechLeaks] HTC upcoming device “Ocean Life” will feature Snapdragon 660 and Edge Sense

It looks like HTC is working on a new mid-range smartphone currently named as the Ocean Life. Well, at least according to  HTC's glorious leaker of all time LlabTooFeR, who shared the news on Twitter.

The leaker claims that the upcoming smartphone will sport a 5.2-inch display with Full HD resolution and will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset. It will feature two 16 MP cameras (front and rear), pack a 2,600 mAh battery, and run Android 7.1.1 Nougat with HTC’s Sense 9.0 on top.

What’s even more interesting is that the Ocean Life is said to come with the Edge Sense technology, which made its debut on the company’s flagship smartphone, the U11. It basically allows you to open an app of your choice just by squeezing the smartphone.

HTC’s upcoming smartphone will also have a pair of USonic headphones included in the box, which feature active noise cancellation and the ability to fine-tune the sound to your ear through “advanced sonar-like technology.”

Sadly, there’s no word on when exactly the smartphone will be released and how much it will cost for.
